Plant Description:

Calamagrostis Acutiflora Karl Foerster is a lovely deciduous, fully hardy upright grass that produces a stunning array of cream flower plumes that turn to pink in the summer months. During the autumn and winter the plumes turn to a straw shade but they remain upright through the winter season.

Size: 150cm height x 60cm spread

Position: Full sun

Flowers: July to September but will remain throughtout the winter if not cut back

Care: You can leave the flower plumes for the winter but it is advisable to cut them back in the spring so fresh growth can develop for the new season.
