Imperata Red Baron

Plant Description:

This grass has blood-red spikes that fade to bright green at the base and become translucent with age. This makes a stunning addition to the rock garden and especially effective when mass planted.

Height and spread: 50cm x 30cm (20in x 12in)

Position: Moist well-drained soil in full sun.

Planting

Water well and leave to stand. prepare the planting area and fill hole with two parts soil and one part soil improver and a little general fetiliser. Replace soil around root ball, firm in and water well.

Plant Care

Trim to ground level in early spring. Divide Plants every 2-3 years to prevent overcrowding.
