Fritillaria Meleagris have distinctive crowns of bell shaped flowers in colours white and purple. It prefers hot dry summers and cold winters. Likes a well drained position to avoid bulb rot and for extra care can be successfully grown in a container or pot. The foxy aroma of the bulbs is also said to deter moles and rodents.

Position: Plant in well-drained soil in sun to partial sun.
