Relatively new this cultivar of the Fargesia jiuzhaigou has dark purple canes and delicate foliage.
Fargesia Jiuzhaigou’s stems go through stages of yellow, green, orange and finally a deep shade of purple. The best colour develops when it is grown in full,it does need direct sunshine. It is also a clumping bamboo and is very well behaved.
