Peony Hai Huang is a lovely plant with upright stems bearing divided deep green leaves and in the spring, emerging from large buds it has fragrant double lemon yellow flowers with orangy coloured centres and ruffled petals.

Position: Plant in moist humus-rich well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. May take a while to establish before flowering; moving the plant will disrupt flowering. May require support.
