Leycesteria Formosa 'Golden Lanterns' is a shrub with brightly coloured golden heart shaped leaves and pendulous purple bracts with white flowers from July to September.

Spread: 2m max.

Position: Plant in free-draining soil in sun or dappled shade in a sheltered position. Dislikes heavy wet soils.

Planting: Water the plant well remove the pot and plant in a hole large enough or container large enough to avoid disturbing the rootball. Back-fill with soil mixed with compost. Water regularly and throughout the plant's first year of growth.
