Magnolia Loebneri 'Leonard Messel' is a medium size deciduous shrub or small tree. It produces lovely lilac-pink coloured flowers from March to April.

Position: Plant in moist well drained soil. Some protection may be needed from late winter frosts.
Planting: Water the plant well remove the pot and plant in a hole large enough or container large enough to avoid disturbing the rootball. Back-fill with soil mixed with compost. Water regularly and throughout the plant's first year of growth.
