Magnolia Soulangeana is a deciduous shrub or tree with large dark green leaves that turn yellow to brown in autumn. It produces large deep rose-pink and white saucer shaped flowers from March to April.
Size: 5m Height Spread: 4m Over a 20-50 year period
Position: Plant in moist well drained soil. Some protection may be needed from late winter frosts.
Planting: Water the plant well remove the pot and plant in a hole large enough or container large enough to avoid disturbing the rootball. Back-fill with soil mixed with compost. Water regularly and throughout the plant's first year of growth.
