Sarcococca Hookeriana (Sweet Box / Christmas Box) is an evergreen shrub that has upright stems with mid-green leaves. In winter it produces clusters of tiny fragrant cream flowers followed by small black berries in summer.
Size:50cm Height Spread: 2.5m max
Position: Plant in fertile moist but well drained soil in deep or partial shade. If soil remains moist during summer months it will tolerate a sunny position.
Planting: Water the plant well remove the pot and plant in a hole large enough or container large enough to avoid disturbing the rootball. Back-fill with soil mixed with compost. Water regularly and throughout the plant's first year of growth.
