Plant Description:

Horseradish - is easy to grow and has a very strong flavour. Take care when preparing the root as the fumes can cause irritaion to the eyes. Best planted in early Spring into 15cm holes and spaced 60cm intervals. To keep tidy and not grow too wild lift plants in October after the first frost. Store these roots in sand and replant the smaller ones the following Spring.

Position: Full sun or partial shade in well drained fertile soil

Planting Time : March - May

Planting depth : 5cm (2 inch) 

Planting Distance : 60cm (24 inch)
