Buddleja Davidii Butterfly Candy Little Ruby

Plant Description:

This Buddleja is a compact mound forming woody perennial of lance-shaped, mid-green foliage and elegant cone-shaped panicles. The outward cone-facing flower spikes formed of many ruby red blooms deliver graceful, yet vibrant colour and a textured appearance. This is a spectacular border plant, but equally showy in containers on the patio.

Care

For best results plant in moist fertile soil, water well once planted and ensure plants do not dry out whilst establishing. Pruning in early to mid-spring allows time for the new growth to mature and flower in the same year. Avoid pruning in winter as it may lead to frost damage of new shoots.
