Nandina Domestica Fire Power (Heavenly Bamboo)

Plant Description:

Nandina Domestica 'Fire Power' is an elegant semi or evergreen shrub with long unbranched stems. Large brightly coloured red, cream and orange leaflets in spring and autumn and yellowish-green in summer. Large bunches of small white, star-shaped flowers from mid summer followed by orange-red fruits after hot summers.

Suitable for: A sunny sheltered wall in any fertile well-drained soil.

Height and spread in 10 years: 1m x 1m (3ft x 3ft)

Planting
Soak the rootball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the rootball or pot. Mix an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established.

Care: Frost hardy. Shelter from cold winds.
