Hibiscus Syriacus Purple Ruffles (Rose of Sharon) has a stunning wealth of ruffled flowers in mid to late summer. Large blooms usually double sometimes triple purple red flowers adorn the Hibiscus Purple Ruffles. The leaves are darker than other varieties.

Position: Plant in moist well-drained alkaline to neutral soil in a sheltered sunny position.

Planting: Water the plant well remove the pot and plant in a hole large enough or container large enough to avoid disturbing the rootball. Back-fill with soil mixed with compost. Water regularly and throughout the plant's first year of growth.
