Malva sylvestris 'Primary blue' (Common Mallow) is a variety of the common mallow that has soft grey-green foliage and blue-grey flowers. They have darker pin-stripes on the petals and look altogether more interesting than the species plant. The species is sometimes known as 'fairy cheeses' since the seedpods resemble Edam cheese
