Cabarnet is a compact Japanese barberry with crimson new leaves that colour burgundy red over the season. Relatively small and extremely dense, it is very suitable for low hedges and ground cover. It requires little to no pruning. Cabernet prefers full sun or partial shade. It is hardy and evergreen.
