The colourful Berberis thunbergii Inspiration has a compact growing habit, similar to Berberis thunbergii 'Admiration'. The new shoots are shiny red and fine in structure. The leaves are coloured in a mixture of red, pink and white. In order to maintain a compact growth, pruning is possible. This deciduous Berberis should be quite hardy and grows in all types of soil. After five years the plant is around 50 cm tall.
