How to care for Hydrangea paniculata Proven Winners© LIMELIGHT PRIME (PBR)

Light:
Full sun to part shade; best flowering and strongest stems in full sun.

Soil:
Moist but well-drained soil; adaptable to most garden soils, including clay, provided drainage is good.

Water:
Water regularly, especially during dry spells; do not allow soil to dry out completely.

Pruning:
Prune hard in late winter or early spring. Flowers on new wood, so annual pruning encourages strong growth and large blooms.

Hardiness:
Fully hardy throughout the UK; very reliable even in colder areas.

Feeding:
Feed in spring with a balanced fertiliser or mulch annually with organic matter.

Notes

Deciduous shrub with a compact, upright habit.

An improved version of the classic ?Limelight?.

Large conical flower panicles appear from mid-summer.

Flowers open bright lime green, fade to creamy white, then finish soft pink as they mature.

Stronger stems than ?Limelight?, helping prevent flopping.

Ideal for borders, specimen planting, and mixed shrub gardens.
