Skimmia japonica White Dwarf
Skimmia japonica White Dwarf is a neat and compact evergreen shrub with glossy green foliage that is aromatic when crushed. Clusters of yellow-green flower buds develop before opening into tiny white flowers in spring. With a mature height of around 70cm, White Dwarf is especially useful for containers, garden edging and smaller shaded borders where a larger Skimmia might eventually become too dominant. It is a male cultivar and will not produce berries itself, but it can act as a useful pollinator for female Skimmias growing nearby.
