Skimmia japonica White Globe is a handsome evergreen shrub valued for its deep green foliage and fresh, pale flower display. Greenish-white flower buds appear during autumn, giving colour through the colder months before opening into fragrant white flowers in spring. Its naturally bushy, compact shape makes it ideal for patio pots, courtyards, smaller gardens and shady borders. White Globe is a male Skimmia and therefore does not produce berries, although its spring flowers can provide pollen for nearby female plants.
