Viburnum plicatum ‘SHIROGAMI’ (PBR) is a deciduous shrub selected for clarity of form and clean flowering rather than density or speed of growth. Its branches develop in pronounced horizontal layers, creating a structured outline that gives the plant presence even when not in bloom. In late spring to early summer, flat white flowerheads appear neatly along the upper surfaces of the branches, reinforcing the plant’s tiered shape rather than obscuring it. The foliage remains crisp and pleated through the growing season before changing colour in autumn. Well suited to specimen planting, ‘SHIROGAMI’ performs best where its shape can be appreciated without crowding, offering long-term structure with minimal intervention.
