Aronia melanocarpa Proven Winners® ‘Revontuli® Mound’ (PBR) is a compact chokeberry developed for a naturally rounded outline and strong colour changes through the year. In spring, the plant produces a flush of fresh green growth accompanied by small white blossoms. These are followed later in the season by clusters of dark berries that sit neatly against the foliage. As autumn approaches, the leaves shift dramatically to deep red and wine-toned shades, giving the plant its main ornamental impact. Selected for uniform growth and reliability, this cultivar works well in borders and grouped planting where a consistent shape and pronounced autumn colour are the main priorities.
