Evergreen Hart’s Tongue Fern
Asplenium scolopendrium ‘Angustatum’ – Evergreen Hart’s Tongue Fern
Asplenium scolopendrium ‘Angustatum’ brings a different leaf shape to a fern planting. Its narrow, ribbon-like fronds have rippled edges and a glossy green surface, forming a compact rosette that gradually arches outwards.
Place it beside a shaded path where the leaf detail can be appreciated, or use it in a container to bring greenery to a sheltered courtyard. Its simple fronds make an attractive contrast with finely divided ferns and broad-leaved shade plants.
This evergreen hart’s tongue fern keeps foliage through winter, helping a shady border retain its shape between the seasons.
