Callicarpa bodinieri IMPERIAL PEARL© is a deciduous ornamental shrub grown primarily for its exceptionally vivid violet-purple berries that cluster tightly along bare stems in autumn. After small, pale pink summer flowers fade, the plant develops dense strings of glossy berries that intensify in colour as the foliage drops, creating a striking late-season display. Fresh green leaves through spring and summer often take on warm yellow tones before falling, allowing the jewel-like fruit to take centre stage. Ideal as a specimen shrub, in mixed borders, or planted in groups for maximum berry impact, it provides standout autumn and early winter interest when much of the garden is fading.
