Broad, rich red petals surround a prominent cluster of golden stamens on Camellia ‘Adolphe Audusson’. Its large, semi-double flowers have an open, expressive shape, making this a lovely choice for gardeners who prefer visible flower centres to densely packed blooms.

The glossy evergreen leaves give it a substantial presence beyond the flowering season. Plant among other acid-loving shrubs to introduce strong red colour to a spring border.
