Camellia ‘Black Lace’ is an evergreen shrub selected for its richly coloured, dramatic blooms and year-round structure. From late winter into early spring, it produces large, deeply ruffled flowers in an intense, dark crimson shade that can appear almost black in certain light. These bold blooms stand out strongly against the glossy, deep green foliage, bringing colour and presence to sheltered parts of the garden when few other shrubs are in flower. With a naturally upright, well-shaped habit, it is well suited to specimen planting, shaded borders, and woodland-style gardens.
