Choisya ‘Aztec Gold’ is a compact, evergreen shrub grown for its vibrant golden foliage and fragrant white flowers. The narrow, glossy leaves emerge bright yellow and hold their colour well through the growing season, bringing warmth and contrast to borders year-round. In late spring, clusters of star-shaped white flowers appear, releasing a sweet orange-blossom scent, with a lighter repeat flush often following later in summer. Naturally neat and rounded, this variety offers a fresh, modern look and performs well in borders, containers, and low hedging where colour, scent, and structure are all desired without excessive growth.
