Diervilla Proven Winners® KODIAK® RED (PBR) is a compact deciduous shrub recognised for its bold foliage colour and reliable garden performance. In spring, new leaves emerge with reddish tones before developing into a rich burgundy-red canopy through summer. Early to mid-summer brings clusters of small yellow flowers along the stems, creating bright contrast against the darker foliage while attracting pollinating insects. As autumn arrives, the leaves deepen to intense shades of red before falling. Fully hardy in UK conditions, it grows well in most free-draining soils and performs successfully in both sun and partial shade, forming a tough, low-maintenance shrub ideal for borders, mass planting, and wildlife-friendly gardens.
