Elaeagnus × ebbingei ‘Viveleg’ (PBR) is an evergreen shrub grown for its bright variegated foliage and reliable garden performance. Each leathery leaf shows a dark green centre surrounded by broad golden-yellow margins, while the underside carries the characteristic silvery sheen typical of Elaeagnus. In autumn, small creamy-white flowers appear along the stems and release a strong, sweet fragrance. Its dense growth makes it well suited to hedging, screening, and structural planting. Hardy and tolerant of wind and coastal conditions, it grows in most well-drained soils and performs well in sun or partial shade.
