Hebe Blue Gem
Hebe ‘Blue Gem’ is an evergreen shrub with a rounded, slightly spreading habit and fresh green foliage that stays attractive all year. In summer and autumn, it produces soft mauve-purple flower spikes, adding colour to borders, coastal gardens, wildlife-friendly planting and low-maintenance shrub displays. It grows larger than some compact Hebes, reaching around 1.2–1.3m, so it works well as a small feature shrub or evergreen structure plant in a sunny or partly shaded position with well-drained soil.
