Hebe Purple Queen (Amy)
Hebe ‘Purple Queen’ is a bushy evergreen shrub with glossy dark green foliage and rich purple flower spikes in late summer. New growth can take on a purple tint, especially during colder weather, adding extra seasonal interest even when the plant is not in flower. Growing to around 1–1.5m, it is a good choice for mixed borders, coastal gardens, wildlife-friendly planting and low-maintenance shrub displays. Plant in full sun or partial shade with well-drained soil, ideally in a sheltered spot away from cold, drying winds.
