Hebe ‘Santa Monica’ is a compact evergreen shrub with glossy dark green foliage and vivid magenta-pink flower spikes in summer. The young leaves can show dark reddish-bronze tones, with deeper colouring often appearing again in colder weather, giving the plant extra interest outside the flowering season. With its neat bushy shape, this Hebe is ideal for patio pots, front borders, gravel gardens, coastal-style planting and low-maintenance garden displays. Grow in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil, preferably in a sheltered position.
