Lonicera kamtschatica 'Myberry Sweet' is a premium, cold-resistant deciduous shrub distinguished by its rounded, compact habit and exceptionally high brix (sugar) content. This Canadian-bred cultivar produces heavy yields of plump, elongated indigo berries that offer a refined honey-sweet flavour with none of the tartness found in wilder honeyberry varieties. In early spring, the plant is adorned with subtle, nectar-rich cream flowers that transition into fruit ready for a June harvest. Reaching a manageable 1.5m in height, 'Myberry Sweet' is a superior, low-maintenance alternative to blueberries, as it flourishes in standard, non-acidic garden soils. Its robust nature and thermal resilience make it a high-performance addition to both productive kitchen gardens and ornamental shrub borders.
