Planting and care

Plant from mid-April to early May in fertile, well-drained soil, spacing approximately 40cm apart in rows 75cm apart. Earth up developing shoots, protect from frost and water during dry spells.

Harvest

Usually late August–October from spring planting. For storage, allow the skins to set, then keep dry, healthy, undamaged tubers in a cool, dark, frost-free place.
