Nandina domestica ‘Obsessed’ brings colour to the garden through its foliage. Fresh leaves emerge vivid red, gradually maturing to deep green, while its compact, upright shape adds year-round structure without taking over a border.
Lovely in a patio pot or near the front of a mixed border, ‘Obsessed’ works especially well where you want colour after the summer flowers have faded. Small white flowers may appear in summer, though its foliage is the real attraction.
Despite its common name, heavenly bamboo, Nandina is a shrub rather than a bamboo.
