Prunus laurocerasus ETNA (PBR) is an evergreen cherry laurel selected for its compact habit and distinctive new growth rather than rapid size or coarse scale. In spring, fresh leaves emerge in rich bronze-red tones before gradually deepening to glossy dark green, giving the plant a layered, changing appearance through the season. Compared to standard laurel varieties, it grows more slowly and forms a dense, rounded framework that stays controlled without constant pruning. Upright but not aggressive, it provides year-round structure and screening while remaining suitable for smaller gardens. Well adapted to a wide range of conditions, ETNA is particularly effective as a low hedge, specimen shrub, or background plant where evergreen presence, tidy growth, and refined foliage colour are more important than fast coverage.
