Sorbaria sorbifolia First Editions© MATCHA BALL (PBR) is a compact, well-behaved form of false spirea selected for its neat shape and controlled growth. It forms a dense, rounded shrub with finely divided foliage that emerges in fresh, light green tones before deepening as the season progresses. In early summer, soft, airy plumes of creamy-white flowers appear above the foliage, adding gentle texture rather than bold colour. Unlike traditional Sorbaria, which can spread aggressively, MATCHA BALL remains contained and easy to manage, making it a practical choice for smaller gardens, borders, and container planting where structure, freshness, and low maintenance are key priorities.
