Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Reka’ is a vigorous blueberry variety valued for its reliable cropping and adaptability to cooler climates. Flowering in spring, it sets heavy crops of blue berries that ripen early in the season, producing firm fruit with a well-balanced flavour. The plant forms an upright, productive shrub that performs consistently when grown in acidic conditions, either in the ground or in containers. Beyond fruiting, it offers additional seasonal interest as the foliage takes on warm tones in autumn. Hardy and dependable, ‘Reka’ is a practical choice for gardeners looking to grow blueberries with strong yields and minimal complication, provided soil conditions are correct.
