Viburnum plicatum ‘Shasta’ is a deciduous shrub valued for its wide, layered outline and measured seasonal display. Rather than forming a dense mass, it spreads outward in horizontal tiers, giving the plant a calm, balanced shape that remains visually effective even when not in flower. In late spring and early summer, rounded white flower clusters appear along the upper surfaces of the branches, emphasising the shrub’s natural architecture instead of obscuring it.
