Weigela florida ‘Victoria’ is a compact deciduous shrub grown for its rich dark foliage and dependable spring flowering. The deep burgundy leaves provide strong colour from early growth onwards, forming a dense, bushy plant that holds its shape well through the season. In late spring and early summer, clusters of pink tubular flowers appear along the stems, standing out clearly against the dark leaves. Hardy, adaptable, and straightforward to maintain, ‘Victoria’ is well suited to borders and mixed planting schemes where foliage colour and seasonal flowers are both important, without the plant becoming overly large or demanding.
