Actinidia deliciosa ‘Herma’ (PBR) is a self-fertile kiwi vine grown for its reliable cropping and classic green-fleshed fruit. Creamy white flowers appear in late spring and are capable of setting fruit without a separate pollinator, producing oval, brown, softly hairy kiwifruits that ripen in autumn. The flesh is green with a sweet, aromatic flavour when fully mature. Vigorous and twining in habit, it is well suited to training along pergolas, wires, or sunny walls. Best performance is achieved in a warm, sheltered position with fertile, well-drained soil, and plants typically become productive once well established.
