Choisya ternata, commonly known as Mexican orange blossom, is a rounded, evergreen shrub valued for its glossy foliage and intensely fragrant white flowers. The rich green, trifoliate leaves provide dense, year-round structure and release a citrus scent when crushed. In late spring, the shrub is covered in clusters of star-shaped white blooms with a strong orange-blossom fragrance, often followed by a lighter second flush later in summer. Reliable, adaptable, and easy to maintain, Choisya ternata is ideal for borders, informal hedging, and evergreen structure where scent and long-season interest are key features.
