Cornus alba IVORY HALO© (PBR) is a compact, deciduous dogwood selected for its crisp variegated foliage and vibrant winter stems. In spring and summer, mid-green leaves are cleanly edged in creamy-white, forming a bright, well-defined mound that lifts mixed borders and contemporary planting schemes. As autumn progresses the foliage drops to reveal slender, rich red stems that provide strong seasonal structure through winter. Smaller and denser than many traditional dogwoods, it is particularly suited to gardens where space is limited. Fully hardy in UK conditions, it grows best in moisture-retentive, free-draining soil and performs well in sun or partial shade, benefiting from hard pruning in early spring to maintain vivid stem colour.
