Cornus kousa ‘Milky Way’ is a deciduous flowering dogwood noted for its exceptionally prolific summer display. In early to mid-summer, countless creamy-white bracts appear along the branches, creating a bright, cloud-like effect that stands out against the rich green foliage. The leaves remain attractive throughout the growing season before developing strong red to purple tones in autumn, often alongside ornamental red fruits. Upright in habit and well balanced, it is well suited to use as a specimen tree in gardens where seasonal impact is important. Fully hardy in UK conditions, it grows best in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil and performs well in full sun or light shade.
