Cornus kousa ‘Teutonia’ is a graceful deciduous flowering dogwood grown for its generous white bracts and attractive seasonal colour. In early to mid-summer, large pale bracts open around small central flower clusters, standing out clearly against the dark green foliage. Later in the year, decorative red fruits may appear, while the leaves develop rich reddish-purple tones in autumn before falling to reveal the tree’s balanced branching structure. Hardy throughout the UK, it grows best in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil and performs reliably in full sun or light shade, making it well suited to specimen planting and ornamental garden settings.
