Forsythia ‘Goldrausch’ is a deciduous shrub grown for its vivid early spring flowering and strong garden presence. Before the leaves appear, the branches become covered in large, bright yellow flowers that bring colour to the garden at the start of the season. Once flowering finishes, fresh green foliage develops and forms a full, bushy shrub through summer. Its upright yet slightly arching habit makes it well suited to borders, hedging, or planting as a seasonal feature. Hardy and reliable in UK gardens, it grows well in most reasonably fertile soils that drain freely and flowers best in a sunny or lightly shaded position.
