Hydrangea macrophylla Light-O-Day is a striking lacecap variety from the First Editions collection, prized for its elegant variegated foliage. The deep green leaves are edged with a crisp, clean white margin, providing bright garden interest from spring through autumn. In summer, it produces delicate lacecap blooms featuring outer rings of pure white sterile florets surrounding a centre of tiny fertile flowers that appear blue in acidic soil or pink in alkaline conditions.
