Hydrangea quercifolia Ice Crystal is an award-winning dwarf oak-leaf variety, celebrated for its uniquely delicate, deeply-incised foliage that provides a lacy, architectural feel. In midsummer, it produces elegant conical panicles of pure white flowers that age to a subtle vintage pink. Its standout feature is the spectacular autumn transformation, where the deeply lobed leaves turn vivid shades of burgundy, red, and purple. This highly compact shrub reaches just 1.2m, making it ideal for small gardens and patio pots. Remarkably low-maintenance and more drought-tolerant than traditional hydrangeas once established. Thrives in sun or dappled shade. Height and spread approx. 100cm–120cm.
