Philadelphus 'Starbright' (PBR) is a deciduous shrub that produces a seasonal display of white flowers on upright stems. Its growth remains contained rather than spreading, giving it a balanced shape without frequent intervention. Flowering occurs during the warmer part of the year, after which the plant continues to provide leafy structure before shedding its foliage in autumn. The plant responds predictably to pruning once flowering has finished, allowing it to be maintained at a consistent size. This variety is suited to garden planting where a manageable shrub with a defined flowering period is preferred.
