Rhododendron 'Graziella' is a compact evergreen shrub valued for its neat form and refined late-spring flowers. Rounded clusters of soft rose-pink blooms open above the foliage, each flower subtly marked at the centre to add depth without creating a bold or overpowering effect. The display is delicate and well proportioned, matching the plant's naturally tidy growth habit. Dark green, glossy leaves provide year-round structure and contrast, allowing the flowers to stand out clearly when in bloom. With its restrained size and slow growth, 'Graziella' is an excellent choice for smaller gardens, containers, or detailed planting schemes where controlled scale and gentle colour are important.

How to care for Rhododendron 'Graziella'

Light:
Light shade or morning sun is ideal; avoid strong afternoon sun, especially in exposed locations.

Soil:
Requires acidic, humus-rich, free-draining soil. Lime-free compost is essential; avoid heavy or waterlogged ground.

Water:
Keep soil evenly moist, particularly during establishment and dry spells. Shallow roots should not be allowed to dry out.

Pruning:
Very little pruning is needed. Remove spent flower trusses after flowering to keep the plant tidy.

Hardiness:
Hardy in most UK gardens; protection from cold, drying winds improves results.

Feeding:
Feed in spring with an ericaceous fertiliser or mulch with leaf mould or composted bark.
