Symphoricarpos doorenbosii ‘Amethyst©’ is a deciduous snowberry grown for its rich berry colour and dependable performance. After producing small, subtle pink flowers in summer, the shrub develops heavy clusters of purple-pink berries that stand out strongly against the foliage from autumn onwards and often persist into winter. The plant forms a compact, well-branched shape that remains tidy without frequent attention, making it easy to use in borders or grouped planting. Tough, adaptable, and highly ornamental at the end of the season, ‘Amethyst©’ is an excellent choice where long-lasting autumn and winter interest is required with minimal maintenance.
